The traditional X back style of men's braces features two straps to the front and the rear crossing over at the back.
The cross at the rear is generally formed with either a leather cross patch or a metal triangle with the straps threaded through. The variety with the metal cross patch allow the position of the crossover to be adjusted.
X back suspenders are particularly good for the larger man and for those with sloping shoulders. All our braces feature size adjusters.
Many of the suspenders in this product category are also available in Y back style which feature two straps at the front which are joined to a single strap at the back forming a Y.
