The much loved X back braces that are common today had their origins in the H back style of men's suspenders. H back braces get their name from the shape created by the leather fastening.

H back suspenders are particularly good for men with sloping shoulders. They feature leather 'infinity' style fittings at the back, nickel clips and 25mm elastic.
